ZZ2, a fast-growing engineering and manufacturing company specializing in OEM integration solutions (like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, lighting solutions for fleets and more), is expanding our sales team! We’re looking for a motivated Sales Representative with experience in government and municipal procurement to help us secure contracts and grow our business nationwide.
Location: Boca Raton, Florida (in-office, full-time position)
Salary: ~$65,000 base + uncapped commission (strong earning potential for top performers!)
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect and build relationships with municipalities, government agencies, schools, parks & recreation departments, and other public entities across the U.S.
• Navigate government procurement processes, including RFPs, bids, cooperative purchasing programs (especially Sourcewell), and compliance requirements.
• Develop and present tailored proposals for our automotive integration products to meet public sector needs (fleet vehicles, emergency services, public transit, etc.).
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, quoting, negotiation, contract management, and closing deals.
• Leverage pricing knowledge to offer competitive procurement pricing and value-based solutions.
• Track opportunities in CRM, forecast sales, and report on pipeline progress.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and virtual meetings to represent ZZ2 and expand our municipal network.
• Collaborate with our engineering and support teams to ensure customer success and repeat business.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in sales to government/municipal clients (2+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, bidding, RFPs, and cooperative contracts — experience with Sourcewell is a big plus!
• Familiarity with procurement pricing strategies, vendor negotiations, and public sector budgeting cycles.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally for meetings/events.
