Description
As a collaborative and innovative engineer on our team, you will architect, implement, and drive a comprehensive, automated quality engineering strategy across the Apple Maps app performance umbrella, spanning its foundational components to its entire user experience. This includes designing, building, and scaling robust automation frameworks and systems, alongside leveraging robust performance metrics, establishing observability standards, and advanced QE practices to ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality, reliable, and performant products across its multiple platforms, including iOS and macOS.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
6+ years in Quality Engineering, specializing in large-scale test automation and advanced QE practices.
Understanding of testing methodologies.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Effectively communicate intricate technical analysis and actionable recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in at least one or more languages used for automation, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of power management and battery-life analysis.
Experience with automated testing for native iOS/macOS applications, utilizing the XCUITest framework.
