Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning of floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and stripping to ensure a pristine appearance.

  • Operate floor care equipment like buffers, polishers, extractors, and scrubbers efficiently to achieve optimal results.

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers License
  • Acceptable driving record to meet company auto insurance policy requirements
  • Acceptable criminal background screen
  • Acceptable drug screen
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing is a plus.
  • Experience with carpet cleaning methods such as extraction and stain removal is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
  • Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF CARPET CLEANING TECHNICIAN:

This work requires routine walking, standing, bending, climbing, carrying items weighing 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Working in inclement weather, work with caustic chemicals, work in confined spaces and no fear of heights. Work extended hours as needed.
