You're Role in the Blueprint:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Carpenter to join our growing construction division. In this role, you'll take ownership of carpentry work across a variety of residential and commercial projects, leading crew members while upholding Inch & Co.'s commitment to craftsmanship and quality. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned carpenter who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role within a dynamic, fast-growing company.
What You'll Build:
  • Lead and perform skilled carpentry work for commercial job sites, including framing, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and finish work
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution
  • Direct and mentor crew members, delegating tasks and maintaining productivity on site
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep work on schedule
  • Ensure all carpentry work meets quality standards, building codes, and safety requirements
  • Identify and communicate any project issues, material needs, or timeline concerns to management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
  • Assist in material estimation and ordering as needed

Your Foundation:
  • 4+ years of carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a crew preferred
  • Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and general construction processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly
