Remodeling Technician / Lead Remodel CarpenterPosition Overview

TruBlue Home Service Ally is seeking a skilled Remodeling Technician / Lead Remodel Carpenter to join our growing team. This position is heavily focused on residential remodeling projects including bathrooms, kitchens, basement finishing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, tile, trim, painting, and aging-in-place modifications.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates professionally with homeowners, and can work independently while helping maintain high-quality standards across every project.

This is not a punch-list handyman position. We are looking for someone experienced in remodeling work who can help execute projects efficiently and professionally.


Responsibilities
  • Perform residential remodeling and renovation work

  • Bathroom remodels including tile, vanities, fixtures, and shower systems

  • Kitchen updates including cabinetry, trim, backsplashes, and flooring

  • Carpentry including framing, trim, doors, baseboards, and crown molding

  • Drywall hanging, patching, finishing, and texture matching

  • Flooring installation including LVP, laminate, and tile

  • Interior painting and finish work

  • Assist with plumbing and electrical modifications as needed

  • Read scopes of work and execute projects according to plan

  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and office staff

  • Maintain a clean and organized jobsite

  • Identify potential issues before they become problems

  • Work independently or alongside other technicians

  • Occasionally assist with home maintenance and repair services


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential remodeling or carpentry experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of remodeling processes and sequencing

  • Experience with tile installation and finish carpentry strongly preferred

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the field

  • Professional appearance and communication skills

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments

  • Must have own basic tools
