The Adjunct Faculty - NCCER Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship Instructor is responsible for delivering NCCER-accredited Core and Carpentry curriculum to participants enrolled in workforce and pre-apprenticeship training programs. Responsibilities
Deliver NCCER-accredited Core and Carpentry curriculum in accordance with NCCER policies and assessment standards.
• Provide instruction in construction safety, hand and power tools, construction math, blueprint reading, layout, and framing fundamentals.
• Utilize lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on lab activities to support diverse learning styles.
• Prepare students for successful completion of NCCER written and performance-based assessments.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with approved curriculum and program schedules.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom and lab environment.
• Accurately track student attendance, grades, skills checklists, and assessment documentation.
