Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Carpenters for projects located in or around Salem, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. IF you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and metal form-work
  • Setting anchor bolts, embeds, and reinforcing materials
  • Building, installing, and removing concrete forms for foundations, walls, columns, sidewalks, and other structures
  • Placing, leveling and finishing concrete
  • Ensure forms are aligned and properly braced prior to concrete placement
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
  • Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2+ years of concrete carpentry experience
  • Must have experience in commercial, industrial, civil, or residential concrete work
  • Must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Must have knowledge of forming systems and layout techniques
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
  • Must have reliable transportation and strong attendance
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required
