Surface Fabricator
Shift: (Mon - Fri) 9:00am - 5:00pm
(Wilmington, DE) Our client is a small custom counter-top, furniture, paneling, and fabrication shop. They are currently seeking an experienced solid-surface fabricator to help assemble countertops, custom walling, cabinets, built-in units, furniture, and more.
*Must have experience with solid surface counter-top fabrication
Job Description:
*Work with a range of materials: sheet goods, plastics, laminates, and solid wood.
*Interpret blueprints and/or architectural drawings.
*Create project material lists and select appropriate materials.
*Use of shop machinery: shaper, wide-belt sander, slider-saw, planer, and joiner.
*Assembly using hand, power, and measuring tools.
*Assemble frame style cabinetry, built-in units, wooden furniture.
*Ensure the utmost quality in respect to company and client standards.
Requirements:
*Must have experience with solid surface counter-top fabrication
*3+ years experience in frame carpentry or fabrication
*3+ years experience operating carpentry machines (saws, grinders, sanders etc.)
*Proficiency with common hand, power, and measuring tools for assembly.
*Must be able to read blueprints and/or architectural drawings.
*Ability to think critically regarding material selection and customization is a must.
*Must have a "safety-first" mindset.
**Must possess your own car and have a valid DL.
**Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
