Job Purpose

Assist the site crew in the successful delivery of projects, through maintaining a safe and clean jobsite.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Responsible for carrying out carpentry labor, material handling, and job site cleanup as assigned by the carpenter(s) on site

  • Strives to improve on carpentry skills and gain greater understanding of basic construction techniques
  • Performs to the best of ability; follows directions well

  • Maintains a safe and clean job site

  • Participation in safety and production meetings

Requirements


  • High level of motivation

  • Clear, concise and respectful communication skills

  • Ability to read and write

  • Possess basic knowledge of carpentry and/or construction (preferred)

  • Provide basic tools and PPE as per supplied list

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Neat, presentable appearance

  • Respectful onsite presence

  • Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, good driving record

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis

  • Perform a variety of construction tasks within a 44 hour work week
