Job description

Experienced Carpenter (Full-Time or 1099 Subcontractor)


Company: Sigma Pros, LLC, located in Woburn, MA

Job Type: Full-Time or 1099 Contract (Sub, As-Needed Basis)

Pay: Competitive, based on experience


We are looking for a skilled, reliable carpenter to join our team. We build custom cabinetry, furniture, millwork, residential/commercial builds and take pride in quality craftsmanship. Whether you're looking for steady full-time work or flexible sub work on an as-needed basis, we'd love to hear from you.


What You'll Do

-Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists

-Operate a table saw safely and accurately for precision cuts

-Run an edge banding machine for finished panel work

-Understand and assist with CNC machine operations and workflow

-Use hand and power tools for general carpentry, assembly, and finishing work

-Measure, cut, fit, and install materials to exact specifications

-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

-Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues promptly

-Collaborate with the team to meet project timelines and quality standards


What We're Looking For

-Proven experience as a carpenter (shop and/or job-site experience)

-Hands-on experience operating a table saw.

-Working knowledge of CNC machines (operating experience a plus, but at minimum able to understand CNC processes and support the workflow)

-Strong command of basic carpentry tools and techniques

-Ability to read measurements, plans, and cut lists accurately

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

-Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

-Own reliable transportation

-Own basic hand tools preferred
