Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Truss Assemblers for our client in Berlin, NJ. This position is responsible for assembling wood roof and floor trusses using hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with lumber, reading measurements, and following production specifications.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble wood trusses according to blueprints and production layouts
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Measure, cut, and position lumber components accurately
  • Install metal connector plates and hardware
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
  • Assist with loading, stacking, and moving materials as needed
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Requirements
  • Previous construction, carpentry, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to use tape measures and basic hand tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and working in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
