-Building Construction Contractors is a fast paced, growing commercial construction company based in Hebron, CT. We specialize in interior renovations for corporate office spaces and smaller commercial service projects, with the majority of our work located in Hartford and surrounding areas, We self perform a majority of work and are seeking someone with a well rounded set of skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and be comfortable working in various environments. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with other trades people. This position requires specialized knowledge and expertise in construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Performs a wide range of tasks including but not limited to: demolition, concrete, masonry, carpentry, finish carpentry, doors, frames, hardware, drywall (framing, hanging, taping), sitework
-Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
-Ensure all work meets safety regulations and project specs
-Collaborate with construction management team to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications
REQUIREMENTS:
-10+ years of carpentry experience (commercial construction only)
-Must pass background check prior to employment
-Must have valid drivers license with a clean driving record
-Ability to lift heavy objects & perform physical labor
