Carpenter
Alyeska Builders is a locally owned general contractor serving Interior Alaska, and we're looking for experienced construction professionals who take pride in quality workmanship and want to be part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

Rough Carpentry

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3-5 years of construction experience (trade-specific experience preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality

Interested in carpentry but don't have the experience yet? We offer a limited number of Construction Apprentice positions for motivated individuals who want to learn, develop their skills, and build a career in construction. If you don't yet meet the experience requirements for this position, we encourage you to apply for our apprentice position.
Employment Requirements
As part of the Alyeska Builders team, employees are expected to:
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Complete OSHA-10 certification before employment (company-provided if needed).
  • Complete one company-approved continuing education course every six months (provided by the company and completed on your own time).
  • Report any driving violations that may affect employment responsibilities.

No Earning Ceiling
After reaching Journeyman status, employees become eligible for annual 1-3% performance-based wage increases, creating continued opportunities for financial growth throughout their career with Alyeska Builders.
