Job Title: Concrete Carpenter/Finisher

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Form Setter to join our construction team specializing in single-family homes. This role demands expertise in structural concrete work, including columns, podiums, and walls over 10 feet high.

Responsibilities

  • Set and secure wall forms for concrete structures that exceed 10 feet in height.
  • Perform all tasks associated with concrete pouring, including site preparation and rebar installation.
  • Utilize tools such as bull floats and power concrete screeds to finish concrete surfaces.
  • Handle minimal formwork and concrete pouring responsibilities.

Essential Skills

  • 5-10 years of experience in structural concrete work, including setting concrete forms and finishing.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for construction tasks.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and measure accurately using tape measures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial or residential concrete construction is preferred.
  • Experience with concrete carpentry and general labor is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with flatwork, concrete slabs, and paving.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
