Job description



Duties and Responsibilities:
*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
Be able to demonstrate the skills to pass an AWS D15.1 welding certification test within 30
calendar days of employment using E 71 Ti Flux Core wire and Co2 for a shielding gas.
Must be able to perform some general repairs aided by a more skilled carmen/ welder.
Jack cars, dissemble truck components and reassemble in a timely and safe manner.
Remove and reassemble raft components in a timely and safe manner.
Operate an air arc and plasma cutter.
Must come to work and be efficient, quality minded and very safety driven.
Positive Attitude.
Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its
essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
Regular and Predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.

Must be experienced in FCAW process, 2G, 3G, and 4G positions
Must be able to pass AWS D15.1 weld test
Must be able to work at heights up to 16’ and in small tight places
Knowledge of safe work practices and prior experience fitting metal is a plus
