Primary responsibilities include management of Puerto Rico and St. Thomas marketing teams, maintaining an acceptable conversion rate of resort occupancy, maintaining an excellent owner experience, and coordination with Resort, Sales, and Corporate/Regional Marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct supervision of Marketing Leaders and staff: interview, hire and train employees
  • Motivate, reward and provide disciplinary action when necessary
  • Resolve issues pertaining to tour statuses, bookings, coding and etc.
  • Maintain copies of invitations and daily tour manifests for reference purposes
  • Prepare daily and weekly status reports to be submitted in a timely manner for corporate deadlines
  • Coordinate with In-House and Front Line sales management in regards to tour allotments and potential tour flow
  • Ensure any pertinent information related to Marketing is properly and timely disseminated
  • Coordinate with sales regarding changes in marketing programs
  • Submit employee payroll in a timely manner
  • Perform other related functions not listed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree/coursework in Business Administration or equivalent experience is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years management experience in vacation ownership marketing
  • At least 2-3 years Wyndham Marketing experience preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Ability to effectively coach, counsel and motivate direct reports
  • Working knowledge of marketing databases
  • Ability to recruit, train and develop employees
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Must have full availability to work weekends and holidays.
