About Us: Saint James School of Medicine is an accredited Caribbean medical school committed to helping students realize their dream of becoming a physician. We are headquartered in Park Ridge, IL. 


Saint James School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated USMLE Counselor to support students preparing for NBME and USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK. This role involves close collaboration with faculty and individualized student mentorship to enhance academic performance and residency outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized counseling and monitor student progress regularly
  • Identify at-risk students and implement targeted improvement strategies
  • Develop, review, and maintain high-quality USMLE/NBME-style questions and exam materials
  • Conduct post-exam performance reviews and deliver actionable feedback
  • Support the Core Concept Review Program (CCRP) and mock examination processes
  • Coordinate study groups and assign students based on performance needs
  • Utilize CRM tools to track progress and generate performance reports
  • Participate in academic meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school (ECFMG certification preferred)
  • Completion of USMLE Step 1 (Pass or score ≥210) and Step 2 CK

Location: Park Ridge, Illinois (Full-time, hybrid)
Reports to: Associate Executive Dean


Schedule & Benefits:

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Hybrid Schedule: Work from the Park Ridge office Monday through Thursday; Fridays Work From Home.
