The Royal Caribbean Group's Global Information Security Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Engineer, InfoSec Enablement reporting to the Senior Manager, Enablement.ย 

This position is onsite and will be based in the Miramar, Florida.

This position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary:

The InfoSec Enablement Senior Engineer is an expert in multitude of technologies and services that is member of a "strike team" that deploys securely transformative technologies to enable the business.ย  Their goal is to be a security and IT evangelist that identifies innovative solutions, creates patterns, and validates them to allow for self-service and generates multiplier effect in securing capabilities. This may include deploying new security tools, embedding in high-profile projects, and rapid execution of mergers and acquisitions.

This role requires developing in-depth knowledge of our security standards and baselines, assessing new system architecture against them, and finding ways to deliver security with enabling business agility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as highly technical security experts to bring security transformation to both new and legacy infrastructure.
  • Deploy new technologies quickly, and successfully transition new platforms to the Security Operations Team for ongoing support.
  • Embed with project teams to understand complex architectures, apply correct security controls, and ensure they are governable in the future.
  • Development of patterns and validation of those patterns through engagement with business and lab work
  • Generation of strategies that brings security ahead of business need and provide proactive solutions.
  • Effective communication that is both written and spoken with great follow up skills
  • Ability to drive outcomes and become the multidisciplinary expert that enables engagement.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of information technology experience, with 4+ years of specialization in Information Security roles that include multiple areas of specialization.ย  12+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Expert in Security Engineering & Architecture assessments, DevSecOps, Data Security and Network
  • Expert knowledge in securing Active Directory, Azure AD, and Cloud environments.
  • Expert knowledge in Serverless, Infrastructure based Security, Zero Trust Policy Design
  • Expert in API Security and driving reuse of capabilities across the organization.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to solving security problems with consultative skills.
