We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Registered Nurse (RN) to support clinical operations across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) within our network.

Position Summary

The Regional RN serves as a key clinical leader, partnering with facility Directors of Nursing (DONs) and Executive Directors to ensure consistency in clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes across assigned centers.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strong nurse leader with multi-site SNF experience who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and is passionate about mentoring teams and improving patient outcomes.

Regional Registered Nurse (RN) Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical oversight and operational support to multiple SNF locations

  • Support and mentor Directors of Nursing (DONs) and Assistant Directors of Nursing (ADONs)

  • Monitor and improve quality measures including:

    • Falls and fall prevention

    • Infection control

    • Pressure injury prevention

    • Rehospitalization rates

    • Medication management

  • Lead survey readiness efforts, mock surveys, and plans of correction

  • Conduct clinical audits to ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance

  • Assist with implementation of corporate clinical initiatives and best practices

  • Support QAPI (Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement) programs

  • Provide hands-on clinical leadership and staff education as needed

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive resident-centered care

  • Travel regularly between assigned facilities

Regional Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state(s)

  • Minimum 3–5 years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience

  • Prior experience as DON, ADON, Regional Nurse, or Nurse Consultant strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and state survey processes

  • Experience with EMR systems (PointClickCare experience preferred)

  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to travel regionally (multi-site support required)
