Job Description:
The Contractor shall designate a Transition Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for transitioning requirements from multiple. During transition periods, the Transition Manager shall be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the transition and meeting weekly with the Sponsor to review contract and program/project status. The Transition Manager role is temporary and will be required only during transition periods to ensure a seamless transfer of Statement of Work (SOW) requirements from legacy contracts.
Qualifications:
  • Required Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business
    • Ten (10) years of experience in managing transitions for software applications, with a proven track record of delivering complex transitions on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
    • Five (5) years in managing transitions for large-scale software applications transitions for enterprise-level applications
    • Three (3) years IT service management frameworks and methodologies, such as ITIL, Agile, and/or CMMI.
    • Three (3) years in managing cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, infrastructure specialists, and other stakeholders.
    • Three (3) years analyzing complex technical issues and developing effective solutions.
    • Three (3) years communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Three (3) years in managing vendor relationships
  • Desired Experience:
    • Advanced degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
    • Experience in managing transitions for cloud-based software applications (e.g .. Saas, PaaS, laaS).
    • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (Cl/CD).
    • Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
    • Experience in managing transitions for applications with complex integrations, such as APls, data migrations, or third-party integrations.
    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.
    • Experience with project management tools. such as JIRA, Asana, or MS Project.
    • Certification in IT service management {e.g., ITIL Foundation) or project management
    • Experience in managing transitions for multiple stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and execution teams
