Job description

Health Quest Home Care - Home Health Aide:
Sign on Bonus
Salary Range: $19.50-$25.65
Responsibilities:
  • Assists the patient with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and dressing..
  •  Assists the client with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities. This includes knowledge in use of assistive devices such as canes, walkers, crutches, and lifts. 
  • Independently assists the patient with meal preparation/cooking and/or feeding.
  • Must have working knowledge of special diets, diet restrictions, and techniques to maintain sanitary kitchen conditions to prevent food-borne illnesses. 
  • Assists the patient with medication prompts to remind the patient to self-administer his/her medications. 
  • Identifies changes in patient condition that require notification to the patient’s registered case manager.
  • Takes vital signs to include temperature, pulse, heart rate, respiratory rate. 
Required:
  • Active NYS, Home Health Aide Certification. Drivers License.
