How much do cardiovascular jobs pay per hour?

As of Jun 15, 2026, the average hourly pay for cardiovascular in Virginia is $32.46, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $21.44 and $39.57 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are the different cardiovascular careers?

Cardiovascular careers include roles such as cardiovascular technologists, echocardiographers, cardiac nurses, and cardiologists. These professionals work in hospitals, clinics, or diagnostic labs, often requiring specialized certifications or degrees in healthcare or medical technology. They perform diagnostic tests, assist in procedures, and provide patient care related to heart health.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

In the cardiovascular field, highly specialized roles such as interventional cardiologists or cardiovascular surgeons can earn around $2,000 or more per day, especially with extensive experience, advanced certifications, and working in private practices or hospitals. These positions typically require medical degrees, board certification, and significant clinical expertise. Compensation varies based on location, workload, and employment setting.

What are cardiovascular technologists?

Cardiovascular technologists are healthcare professionals who specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the heart and blood vessels. They use imaging technology, such as echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds, to assist physicians in detecting cardiovascular issues. Their work often includes preparing patients for procedures, operating specialized equipment, and monitoring patients during diagnostic tests. Cardiovascular technologists play a crucial role in the early detection and management of heart and vascular diseases.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Cardiovascular Technologist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Cardiovascular Technologist, you need in-depth knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures, typically gained through an accredited associate’s degree or certification program. Familiarity with diagnostic imaging equipment, EKG machines, and specialized software is crucial, along with certification such as the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). Attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure accurate diagnoses, effective patient care, and seamless collaboration in high-stakes clinical environments.

What jobs pay 10,000 a month without a degree?

In the cardiovascular field, most roles such as technicians or assistants typically require relevant certifications or training but not necessarily a degree, and they usually do not pay $10,000 monthly. High-paying jobs in healthcare often require advanced education or specialized experience. For higher earnings without a degree, roles in sales, entrepreneurship, or certain technical trades outside healthcare may reach that income level, but they are less common in the cardiovascular sector specifically.

What jobs pay 500,000 a year in the US?

In the healthcare field, highly experienced cardiovascular surgeons and interventional cardiologists can earn salaries approaching or exceeding $500,000 annually, especially with bonuses and private practice income. These roles typically require advanced certifications, extensive experience, and often involve working in private hospitals or clinics. Executive-level positions in healthcare organizations may also reach this compensation level, depending on the size and location of the institution.

Professionals in cardiovascular roles often face challenges such as managing high-stress situations, working with critically ill patients, and keeping up-to-date with rapidly evolving medical technologies. Effective teamwork, strong communication skills, and ongoing professional development are essential for success. Additionally, many cardiovascular roles require shift work or being on-call, so maintaining a healthy work-life balance is important.
