Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
Full Time / Competitive pay / 20K Sign On Bonus
Job Summary:
As a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), you will assist in performing diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests. You will play a vital role in supporting the cardiovascular team by providing critical data used to diagnose and treat heart-related conditions. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals will contribute to the success of our cardiovascular department.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
  • ARDMS (RVT and/or RDCS) or CCI (RCS and/or RVS) or registry eligible
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic cardiovascular tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other imaging procedures.
  • Assist in invasive procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements.
  • Monitor and record patient vitals during testing procedures.
  • Prepare patients for testing, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
  • Maintain and operate cardiovascular equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly.
  • Record and analyze results, providing accurate data for physicians to assess patient health.
