Cardiologist Position

With more than 50 board-certified cardiovascular physicians, more than 45 advanced practice providers and a multidisciplinary team of more than 200 support professionals, Norton Heart & Vascular Institute has the expertise and coordinated care subspecialty programs designed to manage complex cardiovascular conditions across all stages of care include electrophysiology, structural heart disease, advanced cardiac imaging, cardio-obstetrics, advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac rehabilitation.

About the general cardiologist position:

  • Must be fellowship-trained and board-certified or board-eligible in general cardiology
  • Access to advanced technology and specialty care through the Norton Heart & Vascular Institute Advanced Heart Failure & Recovery Program, Structural Heart Program, Heart Rhythm Center, Atrial Fibrillation Clinic, Women's Heart Program, Chest Pain Clinic, comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation centers and more
  • Opportunity to provide telemedicine from 11 referring sites
  • Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and do outreach in surrounding counties and with other affiliated organizations around the state
  • Additional compensation available based on quality measures

About the Spanish speaking general cardiologist position:

The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
