Job description

Electrophysiology + Cardiology | Clinic + Hospital | New grads welcome | CVAUSA partner practice
Florida Heart & Vascular is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular team across our Broward County locations in Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, and Margate. You'll work across both outpatient clinic and affiliated hospital settings, with exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular subspecialties including interventional cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, imaging, diagnostics, and preventive care. New NP and PA graduates are welcome. Florida Heart & Vascular is a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).
Qualifications - what we need
โ€ข Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
โ€ข Active Florida license or actively in the process of obtaining
โ€ข Cardiology experience preferred - genuinely not required
โ€ข New NP and PA graduates with strong interest in cardiovascular medicine welcome
โ€ข Patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to high-quality care
Responsibilities - what you'll do
โ€ข Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in clinic and hospital settings
โ€ข Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and cardiovascular consults
โ€ข Order and interpret diagnostic testing including EKGs, labs, cardiac imaging, and stress tests
โ€ข Develop and implement treatment plans collaboratively with supervising cardiologists
โ€ข Manage medications, coordinate care, and provide patient and family education
โ€ข Participate in cardiovascular care across multiple subspecialties as the practice grows
โ€ข Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
