Job Summary: The Cath/EP Technology Intern will function in a learning environment provided by the Cath or EP lab team to become competent and proficient at radiological skills specific to a cardiovascular radiology specialty.

Minimum Requirements:
  • The Cath/EP Technology Intern must meet the requirements of senior student status as established by their academic institution.
  • Additionally, the Cath/EP Technology Intern much provide proof of enrollment in an accredited radiology technology program.
  • The Cath/EP Technology Intern must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit/dept.
  • The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient requirements relative to his/her age- specific needs, and to provide care needed as description in the departments Standard Operating Procedure Manual.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
