Job description

  • Position Summary
    • The Business Operations Coordinator will assist in managing the daily activities associated with supporting the administrative functions associated with Cardiology and Imaging Services. The Business Operations Coordinator insures that all statistical data is collected and placed in a reasonable format, as established by the Executive Director, Cardiology & Imaging Services. The Business Operations Coordinator manages appointments for the Executive Director and assists in collecting confidential data for the department’s administrative members. The Business Operations Coordinator will maintain and coordinate an efficient filing system to include all Imaging and Cardiology staff files, financial data, minutes of department meetings, and appropriate purchasing information. The Business Operations Coordinator will transcribe correspondence and minutes per the discretion of the Director. Under the guidance of the Director, the Business Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting and analyzing the clinical and financial reporting structure for Cardiology and Imaging Services. The Business Operations Coordinator acts as a liaison to all outpatient imaging centers and pertinent ACO offices, coordinating financial reports, payment of invoices, State and local licensing and start up efforts. Coordinates dosimetry management for the System. Assists in quality initiatives as required. Maintains open communications and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation.

    • Prepares correspondence, using proper formats in an efficient and timely manner. Maintains Director's appointment calendar and informs Director of situations that arise in departments under his supervision. Establishes priorities and a course of action for handling multiple tasks.
    • Gathers statistical and financial information necessary to process reports as assigned. Supports system Strategic Plan, and Imaging/Cardiology expansion plans. Provides and coordinates Imaging monthly report and, in conjunction with Cardiology Business Manager, coordinates Cardiology monthly report.
    • Maintains department co-worker files with appropriate forms and current documentation. Works with managers to maintain department manuals, policies and procedures with current information.  Maintains all required records in compliance with government agencies.
    • Payroll is completed accurately and timely for Imaging Services. Staff is educated regarding payroll policies that affect them.  Issues involving violation of payroll policies are brought to the attention of the manager and Executive Director.  Acts as backup for Cardiology timekeeper.
    • Coordinates financial reports and payment of invoices, consulting fees, and State licensing.
