DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide inpatient cardiology coverage for general cardiology patients, including floor/stepdown and CCU.
  • Manage patient census of 8-12 patients/day on floor/stepdown and 4-6 patients/day in CCU.
  • Collaborate closely with attending physicians in a 1:1 APP to MD model with full support staff.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation, completing charting by end of day (EOD) in Epic EMR.
  • Provide weekend coverage as needed, working 10-hour shifts (7a – 5p).
