Job description

Residential/Group Home Manager
Location: Warsaw, IN
Pay: $21.63 per hour
Hours: Direct Support hours- Monday 4 pm-12 am, Tuesday and Thursday 4 pm-9 pm, Sunday 8 am-2 pm with 4 flex hours. Office hours- Wednesday 8 am-4 pm with 4 flex hours.
Job Summary:
  • Role: Oversee the daily operations of a residential group home, including supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
  • Objective: Provide support and supervision to ensure high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Essential Functions:
  • Supervision: Manage DSPs, including training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
  • Accounting: Ensure accurate management of individuals' funds.
  • Program Implementation: Oversee and document each individual's program plan.
  • Health & Safety: Monitor health and safety, ensure medical appointments are completed, and medications are administered properly.
  • Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with families, guardians, and support staff.
  • Compliance: Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as Cardinal Services' policies and procedures.
  • Environment: Create a supportive, fun environment for both individuals served and employees.
  • Impact: Show a desire to positively impact the lives of others.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Previous management experience and experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
  • Requirements:
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Current auto insurance.
    • Ability to transport individuals safely.
    • High school diploma or GED.
