WE MANUFACTURE FUN!! Cardinal Systems Inc. is one of the nation's largest technologically advanced manufacturers of galvanized steel walls for in-ground swimming pools. In addition to steel walls, we manufacture steel steps and benches, aluminum coping, liner track, deck drains, liner bead and other custom fabrications.
A Machine Operator in the Coping department is responsible for fabricating aluminum coping materials into finished sellable products. Functions include but are not limited to, using various manual and automated saws, notchers, roll form benders, welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Building the ability to interact with our ERP systems is a key job function. Every employee is responsible for quality control; you help us make the best products in the industry.
Essential Functions of a Machine Operator:
  • Learn how to troubleshoot equipment issues when a problem arises to gain efficiencies as well as become self-sufficient
  • Understanding of the process and flow of the department
  • Operate machines at a rate that will meet scheduled production requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Ability to perform machine adjustments & setup
  • Understanding the company's work instructions, production standards, safety procedures, quality standards, and SOPs
  • Global Shop procedures (clocking in & out of jobs, daily production & material transfers, checking inventory status, and completing daily tasks)
  • Maintain a level of quality that meets or exceeds the company standard

Qualifications for a Plastic Extrusion Router Operator
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience operating a forklift preferred/ the ability to obtain certification
  • Will be required to climb, lift, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds independently
  • Ability to work at a steady and consistent pace

1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
