• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to accurately identify clients' psychological and emotional needs, employing various evidence-based assessment tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for clients, employing therapeutic modalities suitable for treatment of individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate engaging therapeutic services, including both individual therapy sessions and structured group therapy, focusing on enhancing relational dynamics and communication skills.
• Guide clients in building effective coping strategies, problem-solving techniques, and stress management skills tailored to their unique situations.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and effective treatment strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes using electronic health records (EHR) systems to comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous education and training to remain abreast of the latest developments in mental health therapy, ensuring best practices in client care.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Cardinal Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and family dynamics. You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of clients across various backgrounds, helping them understand their challenges and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic services, preferably in a clinical, outpatient setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to connect and build rapport with a variety of clients.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently, effectively managing a diverse caseload.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other relevant technology to enhance treatment delivery.
• A strong commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines in all aspects of professional practice.

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in a remote or telehealth setting.
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Previous experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
