Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Unit 30

Downers Grove, IL

Where You Will Work:

A 32- bed Cardiac Unit specialized in patients with complex heart conditions including acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, post-cardiac cath and procedural care, and post-cardiac surgery recovery. Our nurses provide continuous cardiac monitoring with patient ratios of 4-5, collaborating closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver highquality, evidencebased care. The team culture issupportive with a shared commitment for optimal cardiac nursing care while also providing a truly extraordinary patient experience.

We're Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You'll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
