RN Cardiac Telemetry

Location: Seneca, SC

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Pay Rate: $50.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: 3x12 Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; every other weekend (may change based on need)
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This Cardiac Telemetry RN position supports adult patients in observation status and inpatient overflow, covering a wide range of cardiac and acute medical diagnoses. Floating is required to like units at this hospital or close by hospitals depending on need.

  • Permanent pacemaker pacing
  • TEE
  • Negative pressure isolation (AFB)
  • Thoracentesis/Paracentesis
  • Level 3 administration of continuous intravenous infusions per Prisma Health policy
  • Level 3 IV Push medications for inpatient care per Prisma Health policy

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with Pyxis & Omnicell medication systems
  • Minimum one year of EPIC experience required

Education Requirements

  • SC RN License required
  • ACLS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification required

Required Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in the field required
  • First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Patient Population: Adult patients with chest pain/acute coronary syndrome, cardiac arrhythmias, diabetes, syncope, permanent pacemaker insertion, CVA/TIA/stroke work-up, pneumonia, heart failure, COPD, sepsis, and GI bleed
  • Floating required to like units at this hospital or close by hospitals depending on need
  • Weekend coverage: every other weekend; may change based on need
