Role Overview: This role provides care for patients with heart conditions by continuously monitoring their cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment. This role involves assessing patients, administering medications, and responding rapidly to any changes or cardiac emergencies. It also involves working closely with the healthcare team and educating patients on managing their heart health.
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience required.
  • Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions.
  • EPIC charting experience required.
  • Medication system: Pyxis & Omnicell
  • Certificates Required:  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
  • State license
  • 1st time travelers accepted.
  • Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias.
  • LVAD & Heart Failure trained preferred.

Schedule:
  • Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
  • Float: Required
  • Call: Yes
  • Weekend Coverage: Every other
