Your ability to assess patient needs, interpret complex cardiac rhythms, and build trusting relationships will directly support positive outcomes and a safe clinical experience. • Cardiac Rehabilitation: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients participating in cardiac rehabilitation programs.
  • Clinical Monitoring: Monitor patients during both stress testing and exercise sessions-including continuous EKG/rhythm monitoring, vital signs, symptom assessment, and physiological response to activity-responding immediately to clinical changes or emergencies.
  • Patient Education: Provide comprehensive education related to cardiac health, diagnostic procedures, risk factor reduction, exercise, nutrition, medications, and lifestyle modification.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists, rehab staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and continuity of care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, stress test results, nursing interventions, and patient progress within the electronic health record in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, sterile, and therapeutic environment while promoting high-quality clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and a positive, supportive patient experience.
