Job Summary
Hilo Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (CPCU RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This position provides care for patients in a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit consisting of telemetry and step-down ICU patients. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry skills, acute care experience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms
Perform telemetry strip interpretation
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
Perform fingerstick blood glucose monitoring
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure continuity of care
