**Cardiac monitor technicians, or telemetry technicians, monitor multiple patient's heart activity and interpret heart rhythms from a central monitoring center covering multiple acute care locations. They play a vital role in the lives of cardiac patients and are a critical member of the health care team.
Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

Observes telemetry monitors continuously, recognizes and documents rhythm tracings and also continuously monitors Cerner Patient Observer โ€œCPO,โ€ recognizes patient movement and proactively alerts nurses and other caregivers to prevent adverse events including patient falls, patient elopement, patient safety, and visitor monitoring.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Required Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Preferred Education: Completion of dysrhythmia course.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience in health care environment such as CNA, EMT or other related areas. Comparable experience and skills also considere
