Job description

Hourly Pay Range:
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October 2026.
Position Highlights:
  • Position: RN, Cardiac Imaging
  • Location: Elmhurst Hospital
  • Full Time, Day shift with a rotating schedule, typically Monday-Saturday, 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Position includes on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend coverage.
What you will do:
  • Perform stress testing.
  • Conduct patient assessment and collect health data involving the patient, family and other healthcare providers.
  • Develop and communicate an individualized plan of care, evaluate patient progress and document patient health data, interventions and communications.
  • Provide assistance to technical staff with injection of contrast, venipuncture, administration of medications, oxygen therapy and IV management.
  • Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessed learning needs.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and nursing research and remain current on research and practice trends in cardiac diagnostic testing through professional networking, ongoing education and self-directed learning.
  • Support staff in using research and providing evidence-based care and contribute to the professional development and clinical education of peers, students and other healthcare providers.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations and assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.
What you will need:
  • Education: Nursing Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Certification: BLS, ACLS
  • Experience: Cardiac Imaging
  • Unique or Preferred Skills: Solid Critical thinking skills, Prior Stress testing experience preferred
