Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Device (CIED) Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, hourly, hybrid position , with 2-3 days per week in the office and the remaining days remote . The ideal candidate has strong experience with cardiac implantable electronic devices and is comfortable independently reviewing remote transmissions, identifying clinically significant findings, accurately documenting results, and escalating findings to the appropriate clinical team. Registered Nurses (RNs) are preferred. Candidates must be IBHRE certified or hold a valid CRAT credential. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret remote transmissions from pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-P/CRT-D devices, and implantable loop recorders Review electrograms, arrhythmia episodes, device alerts, battery status, lead measurements, and other device diagnostics Identify clinically significant arrhythmias, device alerts, and device-related abnormalities Escalate urgent or abnormal findings to the appropriate clinical team in accordance with established protocols Accurately document device transmission findings and relevant clinical information Manage scheduled and unscheduled remote device transmissions Maintain an organized and efficient remote monitoring workflow and patient queue Work across major cardiac device manufacturer platforms, including Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Biotronik Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, technicians, and other members of the clinical team Assist with patient follow-up and device monitoring coordination as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable policies and procedures Meet established standards for quality, accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time Required Qualifications: Current IBHRE certification OR valid CRAT credential Previous experience with CIED monitoring and/or cardiac device clinic workflows Experience reviewing remote cardiac device transmissions Strong understanding of pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and implantable loop recorders Ability to interpret device diagnostics and electrograms Ability to recognize clinically significant arrhythmias and device-related abnormalities Familiarity with major cardiac device manufacturer platforms Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a clinical team Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to efficiently manage a high-volume monitoring workflow Preferred Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) preferred Previous experience in electrophysiology, cardiology, or a dedicated cardiac device clinic IBHRE certification (CDRMS or CCDS) Experience with third-party CIED remote monitoring platforms Experience managing a high-volume remote monitoring population Experience working with multiple physicians or clinical providers This is a full-time (40-hours a week), hybrid position. 2-3 days per week in office Remaining workdays may be performed remotely Schedule: Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday, or Wednesday-Sunday (depending on preference) Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office and be available to work on-site as scheduled. Compensation $35.00-$44.00 per hour, based on experience, credentials, and qualifications. What We're Looking For We are looking for an experienced cardiac device professional who can confidently and efficiently manage CIED transmissions while maintaining a high standard of clinical accuracy. The successful candidate will be comfortable independently reviewing transmissions, recognizing findings that require clinical attention, documenting findings accurately, and communicating effectively with the clinical team.
