Their role is critical in ensuring safe and effective cardiac catheterization procedures, which are minimally invasive tests and treatments for heart disease.

How much do cardiac catheterization techs make?

Cardiac catheterization technicians typically earn a median annual salary of around $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience, location, and certifications. Salaries can vary based on healthcare setting and the complexity of procedures performed, with some earning higher with specialized skills or advanced certifications.

They may face challenges such as handling emergency procedures, adapting to rapidly changing patient conditions, and maintaining composure during long or unpredictable shifts.
