Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Position

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on providing exceptional patient care during cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing left and right heart catheterizations.
  • Support the placement of Pacemakers and ICDs as well as Watchman procedures.
  • Participate in interventional radiology procedures and electrophysiology (EP) ablations.
  • Maintain adherence to procedural guidelines, universal precautions, and moderate sedation protocols.
Schedule

This position requires availability for day shifts, specifically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

The shift involves one full weekend plus two weekdays for a total of 10 shifts per four-week schedule. On-call staff is required for night shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification are required.
  • Candidates should have experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
  • Electrophysiology experience is preferred.
