General Laborer | Logan, UT


Nexeo is seeking a General Laborer for a construction-related position requiring earthwork experience. This role involves assisting with site preparation activities such as excavation support, grading, material movement, and compaction work.

Candidates will work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions and must be comfortable following site direction, adhering to dress requirements, and maintaining flexibility for occasional additional hours.


Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks supporting earthwork operations, including digging, trenching, and site cleanup
  • Assist with grading, leveling, and soil placement
  • Move, spread, or load dirt, gravel, or other materials
  • Support compaction and ground preparation activities
  • Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows
  • Assist equipment operators as directed
  • Follow direction from site supervisors or project contacts
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and safety awareness
  • Work indoors or outdoors depending on project needs
  • Report to designated site contacts as assigned


Qualifications

  • Previous earthwork or site-preparation experience (excavation, grading, trenching, fill work, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Willingness to work occasional extra hours or Saturdays if needed
  • Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods


Pay

$18.00 per hour


Schedule

Full Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Some Saturdays or extended hours may be required
