Job description

SUMMARY:

Deal Poker or other card games as assigned. Maintain the highest standards of customer service, game protection and integrity in the Table Games department.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deal cards, shuffle, make change/chip buys, take and pay customer bets.
  • Communicate with customers to answer questions.
  • Implement all dealing procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Entry level position.
  • One year dealing experience (preferred) in a casino with similar betting limits.
  • Must be able to successfully pass an audition of dealing skills.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with coworkers and the public.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of effective money handling procedures.
  • Ability to make change and mentally perform basic math calculations.
  • Skilled in resolving customer and employee relation issues.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)

  • Constantly walking and standing.
  • Constant hearing, seeing and talking.
  • Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
