Pay Range: $16.90 per hour

Expected Hours: 20 – 25 per week

About the Role

We are a growing Trading Card Game (TCG) shop in Fontana looking for a Sales Associate to assist in our retail operations. This is a hands-on role focused on providing excellent customer service and learning the organizational heart of our business. If you have high attention to detail and a passion for the TCG hobby, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Sort and organize high volumes of cards by game, set, and condition (PokĂ©mon, Magic: The Gathering, etc.).
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack card orders for online and in-store customers with 100% accuracy.
  • Buylist Processing: Evaluate and intake "buylist" submissions, identifying card editions and rarities, and correctly determine their market value
  • Retail Support: Provide customer service in our retail area and process transactions via our POS system.
  • Quality Control: Identify subtle variations in card versions (e.g., specific sets or printings) to ensure correct pricing and fulfillment.

Requirements

  • TCG Knowledge: Proven understanding of trading card games (e.g., PokĂ©mon, MTG, One Piece TCG, Riftbound, Yu-Gi-Oh! and others).
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to distinguish card conditions and correctly identify a variety of different trading cards.
  • Work Ethic: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high-volume tasks.
  • Environment: Ability to work in a noisy shop/warehouse setting that experiences high customer volumes.
