Job description

We are looking for a Product Manager to help shape and execute the evolution of Carbon Arc's product suite. This role spans how users discover, interact with, and derive value from Carbon Arc's data assets, insights, and usage-based platform.

You will work closely with Engineering, Research & Intelligence, GTM, and Compliance to define product direction and deliver high-quality experiences across workflows, features, and core platform capabilities. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys simplifying complex systems, and balances strategic thinking with relentless execution.

What You'll Do
  • • Contribute to the vision and execution of Carbon Arc's product suite, spanning user workflows, discovery, and value realization
  • • Shape how customers interact with Carbon Arc's data assets, insights, and usage‑based platform capabilities
  • • Partner with leadership to define and execute a product roadmap grounded in customer needs, market opportunity, and technical feasibility
  • • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Research & Intelligence, GTM, and Compliance to deliver scalable, high‑quality product features
  • • Work hands‑on across the product lifecycle, from clarifying requirements and pressure‑testing architectural decisions to refining UX and resolving real customer workflows
  • • Champion the customer perspective, ensuring products solve meaningful problems, reduce friction, and improve usability
  • • Use data, metrics, and qualitative feedback to inform prioritization, tradeoffs, and continuous product improvement
What You'll Bring
  • • 5+ years of product management experience shipping SaaS or data‑centric products across multiple cycles
  • • Demonstrated success working cross‑functionally with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to deliver high‑impact products
  • • A strong intolerance for friction and poor UX, with a high bar for quality from underlying systems to the final user experience
  • • Strong product intuition grounded in data, with comfort diving into metrics, data models, customer feedback, and edge cases
  • • A growth mindset with openness to coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement
  • • High emotional intelligence and a collaborative working style, enabling alignment across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
  • • Experience working on data platforms, analytics products, or developer‑facing tools
  • • Familiarity with usage‑based or consumption‑based pricing models
  • • Experience operating in early‑stage or high‑growth startup environments
  • • Comfort working directly with customers to validate workflows and iterate quickly
What We Offer
  • • Fully paid healthcare benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)
  • • Remote work options
  • • 401(k) plan with employer contributions
  • • Paid time off
  • • Generous parental and family leave policies
  • • Challenging problems to tackle with a supportive, entrepreneurially driven team
  • • A strong work culture centered on integrity, excellence, truth, trust, and transparency
Location

Carbon Arc is headquartered in New York City and operates as a remote‑first company. Team members are expected to travel for in‑person onsite gatherings at least one week per quarter to collaborate, plan, and connect as a team.
