We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team at Tidal Therapy Services. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to fulfill your responsibilities from the comfort of your own home while still being a vital part of our collaborative team. Our clinicians enjoy a flexible work schedule, operating from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., enabling a healthy work-life balance.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, using diagnostic interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are collaboratively designed with clients, aligning with their unique needs, objectives, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address and manage mood disorders effectively.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, aiding them in understanding their conditions.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care that addresses both psychological and medical aspects of client health.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, continuously enhancing personal competency and therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to foster collaboration and enhance clinical skills.

• Advocate for the needs of clients, working towards reducing mental health stigma and supporting their journey towards recovery and well-being.

As an LMFT with Tidal Therapy Services, you will primarily work with individuals and families facing challenges related to mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. You will engage with a diverse client base, offering compassionate care and tailored therapeutic interventions designed to empower them toward recovery.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a prerequisite.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship through strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• An empathetic and nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles is crucial for this role.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills are necessary for effectively managing a caseload and administrative responsibilities.

• Experience with mood disorders and evidence-based therapeutic techniques is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery is beneficial as this position operates in a virtual environment.

• A background in case management or collaborative care models would be advantageous.

• The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
