Amazon Freight Finance is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to join its Transportation Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to create and innovate on behalf of our customers and build the transportation experience of the future. This role will have heavy impact and high visibility to the long-term strategy for the business, and it will require strong partnership with the Operations teams as well as Finance, Accounting and Technology

The role will require an individual to deep dive into business input drivers, dive into complex data pool, and use insights to influence business decisions. In this role you will have a high level of visibility and partner with cross functional teams. We help others understand finance and are the trusted business advisors to our business teams.
We are looking for a leader who exhibits excellent attention to detail and is comfortable with ambiguity. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment

Regular collaboration with executives and various business units across Amazon will allow you the opportunity to exhibit your verbal and written communication skills. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to improve and create new measures for business effectiveness, innovate creative solutions utilizing large scale data mining tools, and identify high priority projects to maximize results for key stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
-Own Shipper level Margin Analysis and partner with Sales, Pricing and other teams to address issues in margin.
-Perform the Cost dive deep in partnership with Cost Planning and Execution team and build template to show weekly, monthly and YTD performance including commentary for leadership reviews
-Partner with Cross Functional teams on cost allocation and its methodology to ensure accurate financial reporting
-Own E2E CAPEX planning for Truck Load and Less-Than Truck Load business through building of ROI, FCF, PBP, and IRR models and supporting the CAR approval

This includes integration of our processes with Central CAPEX Planning team and developing a working model including reviews with senior leaders.
-Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
-Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams and partner finance teams to ensure seamless integration of the LTL plan into the overall Worldwide Operations and Amazon Inbound Transportation's financial plans. Foster strong communication and coordination to drive alignment across the organization.
-Have backbone, disagree and commit to foster constructive dialogues, harmonize conflicting views, resolve issues, and drive decisions.
