Job Title: ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Pegaย Developer

Location: ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Orrville, Ohio

Duration: ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 12+ย month contract

Interview: ย ย ย ย ย  Phone then Skype

Must have a car b/c the client is in a rural location, but 15 minutes from all the chain stores you need.ย ย 

ย This role will be 80% development.

ย Pega 7 experience or newer is required and the #1 requirement.

ย They need to also have experience in object oriented programming as that is really what this is.

ย All the other things on the list are used on the platform so really the main things to focus on is the pega and OOP experience.

ย The BIX is a pega thing and it basically does the interaction with other systems. Not a requirement but a plus.

ย They are in an agile environment so this person will be sitting in a room at tables with others on the team so they need to be ok with that environment.

ย OK with out of town candidates but must be willing to commit to being on-site 40 hours per week minimum of 4 days per week.

PROJECT STATEMENT:ย  Create a sustainable, agile and integrated platform for product commercialization and maintenance processes to support our ability to facilitate innovative "big" ideas, satisfying the consumer demand for transparency, and enhance our ability to quickly commercialize new and update existing products.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVE:ย  Optimize flexible/agile business processes into Smucker's product concept to commercialization process. Optimize an enhanced and consistent user experience with respect to product master data across both internal and external stakeholders. Enable enhanced data governance and data quality for product master data, enabled by a combination of people, processes and technology. Reduce reliance on IS support for ongoing product master data.
