To thrive as a Car Porter, you need a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and familiarity with basic vehicle operation and maintenance. Experience with dealership management systems or inventory tracking tools is often helpful. Reliability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills set exceptional Car Porters apart. These abilities ensure vehicles are moved safely and efficiently, supporting dealership operations and customer satisfaction.

How much does a car salesman make on a $10,000 car?

A car salesperson typically earns a commission based on the profit or a percentage of the sale price, often around 20-30%. For a $10,000 car, this could mean a commission of approximately $2,000 to $3,000, depending on the dealership's commission structure and profit margins.

How much does a car salesman make on a $30k care?

A car porter typically does not earn commissions on car sales; instead, they receive an hourly wage or salary. If referring to a car salesperson, their earnings on a $30,000 vehicle depend on the commission rate, which often ranges from 20% to 30%, meaning they could earn $6,000 to $9,000 in commission for that sale. However, actual earnings vary based on dealership policies and sales volume.
