Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Used Car Manager to join our team at Subaru Evergreen Park. In this role, you will oversee the buying, selling, and overall management of our used vehicle inventory, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. You will lead a team to meet sales goals, maintain inventory standards, and collaborate with other departments to optimize our dealership’s performance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the used car department, including inventory acquisition, pricing, and sales.
  • Lead and develop the used car sales team to meet and exceed monthly targets.
  • Work closely with finance, service, and new car departments to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate vehicle reconditioning and ensure all used inventory meets company standards.
  • Negotiate vehicle trades and purchases to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports related to used vehicle sales and inventory management.
Requirements
