About the Role

As a Per Diem Pharmacist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Learn our systems thoroughly, managing both internal and external pharmacy operations

  • Be a team player, handling various aspects of prescription orders such as processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries

  • Communicate well with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs.

  • Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience in a dynamic workflow and work with our courier team to handle deliveries efficiently

  • Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items

Requirements

  • You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries

  • You hold a valid Pharmacist License inthis state

  • You are ready to work as required to provide coverage for any unplanned absences, days off, or scheduled time off

  • You understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes

  • You must be able to pass a background check and drug test as a requirement of employment

  • You are available to work within operating hours:Boston Pharmacy Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
